Einladung aus Tschechien zu einer Internationalen Konferenz „Interkulturelle und transkulturelle Dimension im Linguistischen, kulturellen und historichen Kontext“ an die Universität Pardubice.

„Durch Dr. Jan Capek, Leiter des Sonnenbergkreises Tschechien und Vorstand der ISA, konnte ich an der Konferenz „Interkulturelle und transkulturelle Dimension im Linguistischen, kulturellen und historichen Kontext“ an der Universität Pardubice teilnehmen.

Dozenten und Studenten aus Polen, Österreich, der Türkei, der Ukraine, Togo, Rumänien, Deutschland und natürlich Tschechien nahmen an dieser Konferenzteil, die ein beeindruckendes und vielseitiges Programm bot.

Als Vertreterin des Internationalen Haus Sonnenberg wurde mir am Eröffnungstag und gleich nach den Eröffnungsreden Zeit eingeräumt, um das IHS vorzustellen.

Ich gab einen kurzen Überblick zur Geschichte und der Entwicklung und betonte die Ausrichtung unseres Instituts, das sich auch nach 75 Jahren (2024) noch konsequent an der Umsetzung unseres Mottos:

Miteinander sprechen - Vorurteile überwinden – Sich verständigen – Verantwortlich handeln

orientiert.

Weitere Schwerpunkte meines Vortrags waren die Bedeutung der politischen Bildung in allen Facetten und zu jeder Zeit und natürlich das ganz Besondere des IHS: die Internationalität, die wir durch intensive Kontaktaufnahmen und Netzwerke ausweiten wollen.

Ich präsentierte einen Überblick über unsere langjährig erfolgreichen Aktivitäten, aktuelle Themen und Tagungen sowie unsere zukünftigen Pläne.

Dabei betonte ich die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten, die wir, breit aufgestellt wie kaum eine Institution in diesem Bereich, bieten können. Unterstützt wurde meine Präsentation durch einen ansprechend gestalteten Videoclip, der virtuell meine Rede begleitete.

Die Resonanz war durchweg positiv. Sowohl während der Pausen als auch beim Abendessen wurde ich von verschiedenen Teilnehmenden angesprochen. In individuellen Gesprächen konnte ich ausführlich auf gestellte Fragen eingehen.

Zudem konnte ich einige spannende Kontaktdaten sammeln, die von anregenden Unterhaltungen begleitet wurden. Auch einen konkreten Vorschlag habe ich mitgebracht.

Jetzt liegt es an uns allen, daraus eine gute und erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit zu gestalten.

An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich beim Veranstalter der Konferenz noch einmal für die Einladung, die gute Organisation und die spannenden und aufschlussreichen Vorträge bedanken.“

Invitation from the Czech Republic to an international conference on „Intercultural and transcultural dimensions in a linguistic, cultural and historical context“ at the University of Pardubice.

„Through Dr. Jan Capek, head of the Sonnenberg Circle Czech Republic and board member of the ISA, I was able to participate in the conference „Intercultural and Transcultural Dimension in the Linguistic, Cultural and Historical Context“ at the University of Pardubice.

Lecturers and students from Poland, Austria, Turkey, Ukraine, Togo, Romania, Germany and of course the Czech Republic took part in this conference, which offered an impressive and varied program.

As a representative of the International House Sonnenberg, I was given time on the opening day and immediately after the opening speeches to introduce the IHS. I gave a brief overview of its history and development and emphatically emphasized the orientation of our institute, which even after 75 years (2024) is still consistently oriented towards the implementation of our motto:

Talking to each other - Overcoming prejudices - Communicating - Acting responsibly.

My presentation also focused on the importance of political education, in all its facets, at all times and, of course, the very special thing about the IHS: its internationality, which we want to expand through intensive contacts and networks.

I presented an overview of our many years of successful activities, current topics and conferences as well as our future plans. In doing so, I emphasized the wide range of opportunities that we, as a broad-based institution, can offer in this area. My presentation was supported by an attractively designed video clip, which accompanied my speech virtually.

The feedback was consistently positive. I was approached by various participants both during the breaks and at dinner. In individual conversations, I was able to answer questions in detail. I was also able to collect some exciting contact details, which were accompanied by stimulating conversations. I also brought a specific proposal with me.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the conference organizers once again for the invitation, the good organization and the exciting and informative presentations.“
